The Taste of South Pasadena is an annual charity event held in the downtown section of South Pasadena. All of the best restaurants in town participate to serve up bite sized portions of their specialties for tasting. Just a few of the South Pasadena restaurants participating this year include: Trader Joe’s, Radhika Indian Restaurant, Gus’s BBQ, Cos and Pi, Canoe House, Shakers, Mamma’s Brick Oven Pizza, Raising Cane’s, Tomato Pie Pizza Joint, Mike and Anne’s, Heirloom Bakery, Simplee Boba, Griffin’s of Kinsale and many others.
Over the course of several hours I strolled down Mission Street with my friend and neighbor, Dino – we saw some great musical acts and had a taste of almost everything on the way. We met up with other member of the community and friends as we shared this fun community event for a good cause.
There was also a wine tasting event at Canoe House for adults only. I would estimate that there were easily over 1,000 people in attendance. To learn more check out the video below. Hoping to see you there next year!
